In Building Antenna
Providing high quality and building coverage is a key requirement of wireless networks as up to 80% of wireless traffic is generated in buildings.
Delivering this coverage needs to balance the RF coverage and capacity needs to provide the quality of service and network speeds users need with the physical and aesthetic requirements of the in-building environment. To address both these Network and aesthetic needs, JMA has developed a range of in-building antenna products, which offer both high performance RF antennas, such as our MIMO omni ceiling and wall mount products, and more aesthetically engineered products, such as our ultra thin ceiling omnis, or transparent antennas.
Our latest 3.5 gigahertz products provide the flexibility of both, with adjustable ceiling installation that may reduce the visual appearance whilst providing maximum RF performance.

Low Loss RF Connectivity
To complement JMA’s RF co-ax jumpers and compression connectors, JMA provides a range of bulk RF co-ax cable products. These co-ax cable products have been designed and fully tested to support the full FR1 frequency range, when compared to with a competitor solutions, which are tested to band specific frequency ranges, making cable choices project specific, and limiting the ability to use the co-ax cable for later FR1 frequency band upgrades. To support the need for lower loss and more insulation flexibility, JMA’s 3/8 RF co-ax product line provides the low loss performance of a 1/2″ cable, but with the bend radius flexibility of a 1/4″ cable, making it ideal for field installations. In addition, due to the 3/8″ cable’s reduction in cable diameter, you can install up to 60% more co-ax per conduit than the equivalent low loss 1/2″ Superflex cable.
With the growing trend of radio vendors using smaller form factor connectors such as NEX10 on low-to-mid-power radios and the location of these connectors causing restrictions on the ability to use low loss cables, such as 3/8 and 1/2″, which can mean up to 3x additional insertion loss due to having to use a 1/4″ cable. To overcome these constraints and reduce system loss, JMA has developed a new radio RF port adapter, which extends the radio port, such that you can now support the installation of low loss 3/8 or 1/2″ cable under standard 4.3-10 connector interface with JMA’s field-proven weatherproofing system.
Connecting Cluster
Over the past five years, with the increase of frequency bands and high number of RF ports per band, the number of RF connections has significantly increased, bringing more challenges in terms of RF port access, field misconnection, increased deployment time scales, and connector damage. To alleviate these challenges, JMA has developed a new cluster connector, which enables up to four RF connections to be made in one simple, tool-less attachment. This unique cluster design provides a tool-less RF connection, reduces human error with only one-way fit features for increased installation integrity, and mitigates issues such as cross-connector threading or radio port misconnection. The connector comes with fully integrated weatherproofing, so no need for separate weatherproofing, and has the ability to be field replaced and individual cables can be tested. The cluster connector can be purchased as a factory made or tested jumper, pigtail, or field made kit in combination with JMA’s field proven compression connector tools.
As with JMA’s jumper products today, these cluster jumpers can support all used RF interface connector types, such as 4.3-10, 2.2-5, and Nex10. To ensure optimal RF performance and practicalities of field installations of high port count RF connections, 3/8″ cable is used as our standard, providing the benefits of low loss characteristics in line with a 1/2″ cable combined with the bend radius flexibility of a 1/4″ cable. All of these unique features combined give a reliable repeater error for installation for 90% less the time than usually conventional connectors take to install, delivering over a 10% in total site cost savings. We invite you to come and see how simple, fast and reliable it is to make the cluster connections versus conventional RF connectors.
High-Capacity Fixed Wireless Access
Delivering higher bandwidth services for internet to the home has seen an increased demand for network capacity, in particular for higher bandwidth spectrums such as band 41 and 77. In response to these needs, JMA’s new multi-sector multiband solution provides up to four sectors of coverage in place of a single sector today. This new high-capacity multi-sector antenna product has been designed in a traditional macro antenna form factor for ease of deployment, with 50% lower weight compared to alternative competitor products. In addition to these form factor benefits, this product also provides enhanced sector pattern characteristics for optimal throughput and per-sector tilt for coverage optimization. All of these benefits come at a 17% lower CAPEX per site.

Split Sector Solutions
In response to the network needs for adding additional capacity at a lower cost and in the shortest time scales, JMA has released two initial split sector products. These 12 and 16 Port models enable a traditional three-sector site to be upgraded to a sixth sector with a single standard form factor macro antenna, typically in place of two existing antennas, reducing the overall site weight by up to 40%. JMA split sector products have been proven to deliver meaningful improvements in network SINR, user experience, throughput, and capacity while maintaining the same overall site footprint. These performance benefits have been achieved through the unique way JMA has engineered its products to overcome the patent degradations of traditional split sector products delivering lens type performance, but up to 30% lower cost and 65% smaller form factor, making it a more affordable and readily deployable solution.

High Efficiency, High Gain Antennas
With the growth in smaller and mid-sized cities due to population migration, we’ve seen increased demands on both expanding network coverage and also alleviating capacity constraints. To help address these challenges, JMA offers a wide portfolio of high-efficiency high-gain antennas. These pervasively deployed products have seen network coverage expand by 7% on low-band frequencies and 17% on midband frequencies, helping extend new and existing cell sites, reducing the cost of overall new site builds. In addition to coverage expansion, these products, due to their RF pattern efficiency and higher gain, have enabled the mid band frequencies to cover more of the low-band footprint. This allows more constrained low-band capacity users to migrate to higher band mid-band spectrum. JMA’s High Gain products as shown cover configurations from 6 to 20 ports, covering all FR1 frequency bands.
