For purposes of this Internet Privacy Notice, the terms “JMA” or “we” or “us” or “our” refers to JMA, LLC. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

What we collect, how we collect it, and how we use it

Business Contact Information (Personal Data):

You may provide us with Personal Data when visiting our website, or when requesting to download technical information, white papers, and other product-related marketing information. We may collect the following types of Personal Data from you depending upon how you interact with us or use or interact with our website, including your:

Browser usage of our website (Website Use Information):

From time to time JMA collects certain Website Use Information from our servers that relates to the use of our website, including but not limited to Internet Protocol addresses, Internet domain names, the web browser and operating system used to access the website, the files visited, the time spent in each file, and the time and date of each visit.

We may use and share this information as described above.

Like many websites, we use “cookies”, which are small text files that are stored on your computer or equipment when you visit certain online pages that record your preferences and actions. We may also use cookies to monitor traffic, improve our website and make it easier and/or relevant for your use. Like many websites, we use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to record your preferences and track the use of our website. We use these technologies to:

  • Remind us who you are when you access a website, service or feature which helps us to provide you with services tailored to your specific needs and interest;

Applicant information:

All job applications, and all personal information provided by job applicants, are handled by a third-party host. When you click a link to apply for a job opening, you are brought to the third-party host’s website, and their privacy notice applies. We do not control any job applicant personal information. See the “Third party websites” section below for more information.

How we secure your data:

We are concerned about ensuring the security of your Personal Data. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission of your data from your equipment to our servers. We store Personal Data that we have collected in secure operating environments. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose your Personal Data to you. Despite our use of these security measures, you understand and agree that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  If you suspect an unauthorized use or security breach of your information, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cross-border transfer:

There may be occasions in which we transfer Personal Data originating in the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Accordingly, JMA Wireless complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the EEA to the US. JMA has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy notice and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. If you are a resident within the EEA, you have the right to opt out whether your Personal Data is (i) to be disclosed to a third party who is not our agent, or (ii) to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose for which it was originally collected and for which you authorized its use.

In compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles, we are committed to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection and use of your personal information. Individuals within the EEA with questions or concerns about the use of their Personal Data should contact us at the contact information below. If your question or concern cannot be satisfied through this process we have further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-US Privacy Shield to a Privacy Shield Panel convened by a EU Data Protection Authority (DPA). We will cooperate with the DPA in the investigation and resolution of any otherwise unresolved complaint, and we will comply with advice given by the DPA. Finally, as a last resort and in limited situations, an individual within the EEA may seek redress from a binding arbitration mechanism.

In accordance with the Privacy Shield Principles, except as otherwise provided herein, we disclose Personal Data only to third parties who reasonably need to know such data only for the scope of the initial transaction and not for other purposes. Such recipients must agree to abide by confidentiality obligations. Further, we may provide Personal Data to third parties that act as agents, consultants, and contractors to perform tasks on behalf of and under our instructions. For example, we may store such Personal Data in the facilities operated by third parties. Such third parties must agree to use such Personal Data only for the purposes for which they have been engaged by us and they must either: (a) comply with the Privacy Shield Principles or another mechanism permitted by the applicable EU data protection law(s) for transfers and processing of Personal Data; or (b) agree to provide adequate protections for the Personal Data that are no less protective than those set out in this Privacy Notice.

We also may disclose Personal Data for other purposes or to other third parties when you have consented to or requested such disclosure. Please be aware that we may be required to disclose an individual’s Personal Data in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We remain liable for appropriate onward transfers unless we prove we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

JMA’s website may contain links to other websites or apps operated by third parties.  This includes links from advertisers, content providers and trade partners who may use our logo and/or style as part of a co-branding agreement. Please be advised that the practices described in this privacy notice do not apply to information gathered through these third party websites and apps. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the actions and privacy policies of third parties and other websites and apps.

Use by minors

Our website, services and features are not for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or minors. If you think we have received personal information from children under the age of 13, please contact us immediately.

Your California Privacy Rights

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent. California residents under 18 years old , in certain circumstances, may request and obtain removal of personal information or content about you and posted on our website.
