Redefining In-Building Coverage with ORAN

From Venues to Enterprises, traditional Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) show their limits—complex, space-consuming, and costly to maintain. O-RAN changes the game for in-building deployments by delivering architectural simplicity and significant savings. Unlike macro networks, O-RAN finds its ultimate business case for in-building coverage by achieving 60–80% reductions in space, energy, and CAPEX and eliminating radios, coaxial cabling, and attenuators. Reducing Opex and knocking down barriers to provide seamless wireless In-building coverage to Enterprises.

Powering up Sunderland’s Stadium of Light with 5GA

This panel will examine how Boldyn and JMA Wireless worked together to modernize connectivity at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, delivering a materially improved experience for fans and operators alike. Using Boldyn’s Connectivity-as-a-Service model, the project combined an evolved DAS supporting O-RAN fronthaul, JMA XRAN® 5G O-RAN technology, and Boldyn’s Network Management System to create a fully virtualized indoor platform that significantly reduces space and power requirements while enabling high-performance 5G coverage for all 49,000 spectators.
