Around JMA
We strive to foster a diverse talent pipeline while cultivating meaningful partnerships across departments, customers, and partners. Our various backgrounds, abilities, and approaches add to collaborative results that strengthen each other and our business.
Our company culture is rooted in a deep commitment to community and each other – in all the places we live and work. From our $100 million headquarters investment in a revitalizing section of the city to our global volunteer efforts and social celebrations, we promote community and culture at all our offices.
Investing in our neighbors with Brady Market, a grocery store in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in the nation:
Employees from our U.S.-headquarters passionately volunteer hours during the Thanksgiving and December holiday season, packing hundreds of grocery boxes for families to make meals and memories at home. From sorting and bundling food, tallying counts, and loading up vehicles, partnering with this faith-based retailer provides nearly $20,000 worth of nutrition to families in need each holiday.
Flooding each other with support during a devastating rainfall:
In Spring 2023, more rain fell in six days in Northern Italy than it typically does in six months, resulting in devastating floods that impacted thousands. Between mudslides, broken bridges, and rising waters in homes and businesses, 40+ towns and villages needed aid. Our Bologna employees and their families happily put on their boots and got muddy in the spirit of giving their time, presence, and donations – supporting clean-up efforts and each other.
Cleaning up a five-mile stretch of city sidewalks every Earth Day:
As founding members of an annual Syracuse Southside Earth Day Cleanup initiative, JMA Wireless employees across Central New York partner with 20+ other organizations each year and meaningfully contribute to keeping the communities we live and do business in clean and safe.
Connecting countries and feeding refugees fleeing war:
When the Russia-Ukraine conflict began, dozens of our Bologna employees teamed up with Rise Against Hunger to pack food kits for 190 Ukrainian refugees – enough for 15 days!
Building connected and collaborative teams through employee engagement:
Within workgroups and across departments and locations, creating meaningful connections and trust amongst each other goes beyond work projects. From celebrating health and wellness with fitness challenges and road races, to team building offsite fun and cultural celebrations, JMA employees value interpersonal relationships.
